06-26-09 Bergenfield, NJ - Working Fire

June 26, 2009 - Bergenfield firefighters were dispatched for a reported house struck by lightning as heavy thunderstorms rolled through the area. Arriving units found a moderate smoke condition coming from the 2nd floor near the electric service line attached to the house. Command called a working fire bringing New Milford FD to the scene for F.A.S.T. A small fire was found burning in the wall which extended slightly into a upstairs closet. The fire was quickly extinguished with no further extension.
