01-10-10 Hackensack, NJ - 3rd Alarm

January 10, 2010 - At approx 2300 hrs, Hackensack firefighters were dispatched to 448 West Lookout Avenue for a reported fire. Seconds later Hackensack Fire Dispatch advised Deputy 2 that they were getting several calls reporting fire in a attached garage at that location. Deputy 2 arrives and confirms heavy fire and requests a 2nd alarm. Fire was extending from the garage to the second floor, a car in the driveway and already extending to the "Bravo" exposure which suffered heavy fire damage. Teaneck Fire was the FAST and mutual aid companies from Bogota and Ridgefield Park (sorry if I left anyone out and will correct info) covered the City. At approx 2325 hrs, the fire was placed under control and extensive overhaul was in progress.
