04-24-10 Demarest, NJ - 2nd Alarm

April 24, 2010 - At approx 0820 hrs Demarest firefighters were toned out for a reported basement fire at 76 Stewart Street. First arriving Demarest police officers attempted to extinguish the fire with a water extinguisher and darkened it down until firefighters arrived.

The fire flared up again and started to extend back up the walls as firefighters arrived and put it out.
