08-04-10 Oradell, NJ - Smoke In The Basement

August 04, 2010 - At appro 1900 hrs Central Dispatch notified the Oradell Fire Department for a reported smoke condition in the basement of a home on the 800 block of Woodland Avenue. Chief Kahill arrives and has Squad 22 tag the hydrant and lay in with parallel lines to the front of the house. Chief Kahill also requested a FAST from Paramus Truck 1. The structure was ventilated and all units were back in service in less than a hour.
