River Edge, NJ - September 20, 2009
September - 2009 - Tri-Boro South firefighters were dispatched at approx 0240 hrs this morning for a reported motor vehicle accident with a car into a building on fire. Actually a car went off the road crashing through a telephone pole spliting it in three pieces and causing the wires to catch fire. The car came to rest hitting a commercial building across the street injuring the driver and two passengers. They were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. PSEG was called to the scene to and the road is expeteced to be closed well into the afternoon while they replaced the pole and all the wires damaged including Verizon and Cablevision.
