Myrtle Beach, SC - 03/08/09
March 08, 2009 - Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Myrtle Beech Fire Department and Horry County Fire Rescue were dispatched to a possible two story residential structure fire. First due companies reported heavy smoke visible from the station. MBFD sent one ladder, one engine and a battalion chief. HCFR sent two ladders, one rescue, battalion and one engine. MBFD BC Maxwell requested a full assignment (adding another engine, rescue, a mini rescue) from MB due to the report and multiple large brush fires in the county going on at the same time. E-661 arrived to find heavy fire showing from most of the building. All residents were out of the building. A MB second alarm was struck(addtl truck, mini rescue, and engine).
