Jersey City, NJ - June 28, 2009
June 28, 2009 - Jersey City, NJ - FDJC firefighters from Marine 1, Engine 5, Ladder 2 and the 2nd Battalion (sorry if I missed anyone) trained on rescue ops in the Hudson River. Firefighters practiced small boat operations, throw bags, high speed maneuvers and uprighting a over-turned vessel.
Thank you to all the Brothers I met today and to my long time friend Mike Somma from 9 Engine for inviting me to photograph today's training. And a special thank you to the Officers for granting permission to attend and to ride on Marine 1 during the class. And to the "Gumba's" at 9 Engine for a great dinner and my first time eating shrimp, thank you!
